Where
do I drop off and collect my child? |
|
For
the Early Bird Club you bring your child to the front door and ring the
bell labeled Kents Hill Care Club. A member of staff will open the
door. For the Twilight Zone you come to the front door ring the Kents
Hill Care Club bell, a member of staff will open the door, you then come
into the hall to meet your child.
If
we are outside there will be a notice on the door asking you to come
round to the playground.

Are
the staff qualified? |
|
Helen
Hayward and Vicky Eastaff have completed their N.V.Q 3 in Play Work
and are both trained in child protection.
Marie
Winnett has completed an N.V.Q 2 in Play Work.
Christie
Oduro has also almost completed an N.V.Q 2 in Play Work.
Helen
Hayward holds a 12-hour certificate in First Aid.
Vicky
Eastaff and Christie Oduro both hold Basic Food Hygiene certificates.
Vicky
Eastaff, Marie Winnett, Sam Wickham and Christie Oduro
hold certificates in Emergency First Aid.

If
my child has a medical condition can treatment be administered?
|
|
Yes.
The child must have had the medication prescribed by a doctor and needs
to be taken 3 times daily. A permission form must be completed.

How
will I know what my child has had for tea? |
|
On
the entrance to the hall we have a parents/carers notice board, which
has a termly menu on. If you would like more information on what your
child has eaten please speak to the Play Leader.

time do we have tea? |
|
Around
3.45pm.

Do
the children have planned activities? |
|
Yes,
every night we have planned Art and Craft activities. The staff choose
from a wide selection of different toys and games daily. We
also have a range of visitors to the club, such as a police officer and
a magician.

Do
we have outside play? |
|
Yes,
every day, as long as it’s not raining too hard. When the weather is
good we take our tea and activities outside.
