Kents Hill Friends Association is a registered charity. We are a group of carers and teachers who work together to provide extra educational and fun opportunities for the pupils of the school. We organise a programme of fund-raising events each year, which include our Christmas Fayre and Summer Fete. The proceeds from these events are used by the school to fund purchases that would not otherwise be possible. We contribute towards big projects, like the play trail in the playground, and the rainbow park. Other items are smaller, but really enrich the childrens’ learning, for example the school is planning to rent an incubator this spring, to enable the children to observe eggs hatching and chicks developing. We also fund Christmas entertainment and make a contribution towards school trips. We meet six times a year – once every half term – and are always delighted to welcome new faces. It’s a great way to get to know other parents, and teachers, as well as the personal satisfaction of knowing that you have made a difference to the life of Kents Hill School.
