We would like to thank everyone for their continual support of fundraising events. We hope that you enjoy the events and will continue to support them by offering donations, helping out or simply by turning up to take part! Popular events that we like to run every year include the summer fete, the pre-Christmas shopping evening, the Christmas fayre, cake sales, Bags 2 School, Yellow Moon crafts catalogues, bulb orders and 2nd hand uniform sales. What you can do to help: Summer fete - donate something for the tombola or cake stalls, come and help run a stall or activity, come along and enjoy the day Pre-Christmas shop - come along and buy some interesting and unusual Christmas presents. If you would like to have a table or know a friend who might then contact the committee. Christmas fayre - donate something for the tombola or cake stalls, come and help run a stall or activity, come along and enjoy the day. Cake sales - buy or make some cakes and bring them into school on the appropriate day. Come along and buy lots of cakes (and our recipe book) from the stall. You can help run the stall too if you wish! Bags 2 Schools - keep hold of old clothes ready for when the bags come home then fill the bags and bring them back into school on the day. Yellow Moon - browse the arts, crafts and educational toys catalogue over a cup of tea, place an order and enjoy your bits and pieces with your children - a small percentage (usually 10%) of your order comes to the school. Bulb and plant catalogues - take a look at the catalogue of beautiful spring bulbs or summer bedding plants and place an order. A percentage of your order will come back to the school. 2nd hand uniform sales - hold on to any good quality uniform and PE kit as your child outgrows them then donate them to the school ready for a sale. Heronsgate uniform is also gratefully accepted. Come along to the sale and pick up a uniform for bargain prices. Christmas gift fundraiser - each year we help the children to produce a piece of artwork to personalise an object such as a tea towel, shopping bag, mouse mat etc. which we then offer to parents and carers to buy. These make ideal gifts for granny and aunts and uncles so tick off a few people from your Christmas list with these lovely gifts. Raffle - Once a year we hold a grand raffle. If you know of any companies willing to offer prizes please contact a member of the committee. Buy lots of raffle tickets and keep your fingers crossed that you win one of the fantastic prizes.
