Find out if school has to close at short notice with free text and email alerts

IN THE CASE OF EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS, IF WE SHOULD NEED TO CLOSE THE SCHOOL WE WILL BE USING THE MK COUNCIL WEB BASED SYSTEM TO ISSUE EMAIL/TEXT MESSAGES TO INFORM PARENTS AND CARERS, AS WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO UPDATE THIS WEBSITE.

You can now find out if we have to close our school in an emergency by signing up for free text and email alerts on the Milton Keynes Council website. Simply log on to www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/schoolclosures and enter your email address and mobile phone number to receive the alerts if we have to close.

 While we make every effort to keep the school open, there may be occasions when it is not safe for pupils and staff to be at school, for example in extreme weather conditions. When the decision is made to close, we will use the web based system to send the text and email alerts to you. The system will also continue to send information about the closures to local radio stations, Heart 103.3 www.heartmk.co.uk and BBC Three Counties Radio www.bbc.co.uk/threecounties, who will read out the information on air and display on their websites. Please note that if you visit these websites, it is crucial to press Refresh or the F5 button to continually refresh your screen, as details of school closures will constantly be updating.
