Just to say what a lovely time Samuel is having at School especially at
this time of year! He really enjoyed the Christmas around the world fun
day, being in the play and the party today. (20th December) The crafts
and cards he bought home were really lovely and he thoroughly enjoyed
making all these things.
Thanks to everyone for their hard work with the children. Wishing you

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all
the Teachers, who worked very hard to help our children present such
lovely Christmas
Presentations. I thoroughly enjoyed both performances and I am certain
other parents equally enjoyed them too. I was very proud of my little
ones; Jojo in Ash Homebase and Antonia-Marie in Willow Homebase :):).
They both absolutely enjoyed the performances and had a terrific time
:). Thank you all so much for your efforts and dedication.
Finally let me wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Take care.

What a fantastic fun and games day.
I was the one with the loud voice selling raffle tickets for the MK Dons
football. Thank you for all those who bought a ticket. My boys were very
upset they never won it but it has gone to a good home.
The whole afternoon was brillant, well done the Ants you did really well
(my sons group). It good to see so many parents supporting their
children.
I think Jackie and the rest of the friends did a fanastic job to get all
the tombola, games, cakes, bouncy castle and raffle out on stands in
15mins. Mind you they had been busy preparing all morning.
I saw many people walking around with a Nando's chicken burger or corn
on the cob, it was delicious.
Once again thank you to the school, thank you to the friends and a big
thank you to the children and the parents who made it a great afternoon. |

I would just like to take this
opportunity to thank all the staff at Kents Hill School, as they have
all been so kind and helpful to my daughter Manisha during her time
here. She has become a very caring, polite and confident girl. She has
loved her time at school, and has always been happy. She is now ready to
move on to her new school, and hopes to come and visit you all. I think
I am more sad than she is, as I know she has been very happy here and
hope she will settle in her new school.
Once again thankyou all very much.

Hey there, I'm Carrie and I went to
Kents Hill First School from 1997-2001.
I thought the school was really
lovely and I had many fantastic memories there.
I don't recognise any of the
teachers there now, but some of my favourite teachers were Mrs Pocock
and Mrs Bark.
I am now 13 and in Walton High.
Thank you Kents Hill for all the
lovely memories! |

Hi there, I am the mother of Cameron
Jalal in Blue2. Talking to Mrs Anderson earlier today about the
gardening project for the school I thought you might find this website
of interest:
www.squarefootgardening.com
It’s all about how to garden using
raised beds in a structured fashion. I am looking at this for my own
garden and the whole thing looks really interesting and versatile,
particularly for children as it is less boring and more economical (on
seeds) than normal vegetable growing in rows.
I hope this is of use, there is a lot of information on this on that
site but I have also got a copy of the book which seems to cover the
rest. I think this is a bit of a find I personally can’t wait to start
this on my own garden. Let me know if I can help with anything.
Thanks, Sonia Jalal |

I would like to say a huge thank you
to the Year 1 team for all their efforts in making Year 1's Assembly a
great success. I thoroughly enjoyed the Assembly and I believe all other
parents did so. Its a very exciting and enjoyable experience to our
children. My daugther Antonia-Marie was so excited about the Assembly
she was telling everyone about it. She was also looking forward so much
to saying the lines they had given her to memorise. But the children
would not have had this enjoyable experience if it was not for the
dedication and commitment their teachers have for them and that is why I
heartily thank you very much for all. Keep up that great spirit.
Kind Regards |

We have really enjoyed our week so far and are looking forward to our

Last
Friday all parents from Reception watched their children in their very
first school assembly. My daughter, Anna, is in Green 1.
It was wonderful to see the children singing their songs and telling us
about their trip to Woburn Safari Park. Many of the songs I had
never heard before and thoroughly enjoyed them.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff in reception who
worked so hard with the children for our enjoyment, it was
wonderful.

Reception team who brilliantly prepared the children for their Assembly
on Friday 13th. I and I am sure all parents present at the
Assembly immensely enjoyed it. I was so amazed by the children's
confidence, composure and behaviour all the time, it must have take a
great deal of effort, dedication and love from all the Reception team.
The achievement rewards to children and the Golden Board is a very
impressive way in encouraging children to strive even higher and behave
exceptionally well. Well done all of you at Kents Hill First School, I
am really really proud of you. |

I
have been a parent a Kents Hill School for 10 years (I came through the
doors when the School first opened)and I still have 2 children who
attend Sid in green 2 and Lee in green 1 (reception ) and it was a great
honour for me to be invited to Woburn Safari Park visit to celebrate the
Schools birhtday.
The weather looked as if it was going to rain all day but thankfully it
stopped by the time the children got out of the coaches and by the
afternoon we had sunshine.
I can honestly say that the children was excellently behaved and it was
a wonderful day out. It was hard to believe that there was over 200
children on the visit.
A big thank you to Miss Hughes and everybody else involved in organising
the trip and a special thank you to all the children who made the trip
more enjoyable. |

I
have two children at Kents Hill First School and I am also a parent
governor, I was delighted to join the whole school on their 10th
birthday trip to Woburn Safari Park.
We all had such a fantastic day. I spent the day with children
from Green1 and watching their reactions to the animals was so
enjoyable. Our group were lucky enough to have the chance to
stroke an elephant which has always been a wish of mine. So
a huge thank you to Mrs Dailey who spoke to the elephant keepers.
When driving around the safari park I was in Coach1 and the adults and
children thoroughly enjoyed giving a lift to about 4 little monkeys who
decided that the top of our coach made a very good resting place. The
children were watching them through the sunroofs and were thrilled.
As a governor I would really like to say a huge thank you to all the
children who attended, they were a credit to the school and very well
behaved on the trip.
I am sure that all the parent helpers and governors who attended had a
great time also. Thank you Miss Hughes for organising such a
fabulous day out. |

wonderful to see the artwork on display in the childrens library from

Kieran and Anna were so excited and enjoyed showing me their work and
explaining what they done and who they had worked with.
The displays were beautiful and as both a Governor and a parent I felt
really proud of the childrens work being shown in a public building for
everyone to enjoy.
Thank you for organising this.

Kieran
and Anna Evans have been looking at this wonderful website with Mum.
Kieran is in Blue 2 and Anna is in Green 1.
Kieran says it is fantastic. He liked the link that took us to the
Magic Key website. Kieran really enjoys all the magic key books
that he has read from school. Kieran says that it is fun to see
the pictures of school and to read the comments by other visitors.
Anna says she likes the website for school and the game that was on the
magic key website. (This is obviously popular in our
family!) The website looks pretty and is very nice.
As a parent I am really impressed. The website has grown so much
from the early stages and looks very impressive.
Although there are several sections it is easy to find your way around
and the information is really useful. I found it very easy to
print off the uniform order form earlier today and it saved having to
remember to collect one from school, thank you.

Hello
to everyone at Kents Hill especially Mrs Anderson, Mrs Dailey, Miss
Furse, Mrs Patterson and everyone in year two.
I am enjoying being in America and have started school. My new
school is called Crowder's Creek Elementary. I like it
although I have to start at 7.50, but I do finish at 2.10. Mum
says that if I am good and if she can be brave enough that I can start
coming home on the school bus. Because of the way they work it
Adam is in the same school as me but only until the end of the school
year which is May.
Mum says to tell Miss Furse that I don’t cry now at the beginning of
the day because mum does not take me into school, she has to drive
up to the door and a teacher meets us and takes us in. We have not
been at school for the last two days because of the election.
Adam says to say hello to Mrs Dailey for him.
Lots of love

Mrs. Dailey but I told her 'you always see her and anyway you will see

'Mum, we have to visit the big school on the computer everyday'oh bless
